About the Texas Archeological Society

General Information

The Texas Archeological Society is dedicated to the study and preservation of the historic and prehistoric aspects of Texas' past.

The Society has 1,500 members, and has been in existence since 1929.  We're devoted to research, public education, and the preservation of our state's history.
