79th Texas Archeological Society Annual Meeting

WANTED: Silent Auction Items, Now Through October, for the 2008 TAS Annual Meeting

It’s time to start thinking about donating to the Silent Auction at the TAS Annual Meeting.  The Silent Auction is designed to raise funds to help support TAS programs.  The more you donate, the more money we can raise to support the programs we all enjoy.  Popular items for this event include books, videos, CDs, DVDs, jewelry, artwork, quilts, gift baskets, archeology tools, gift certificates, T-shirts, backpacks, pottery, baskets, restaurant/hotel packages, crafts, electronics, etc.  Use your imagination! (No live animals or broken 8-track players, please!)  Please send us your items so we can begin to organize and assess what we have.  You may also bring your items when you come to the 2008 TAS Annual Meeting in Lubbock, Friday and Saturday, October 24 and 25, 2008, but please let us know what you are bringing so that we can be sure we have set aside enough space for your donations.
