Scholarships and Grants
Multicultural Program: Diversity Program Scholarships
The Diversity subcommittee will encourage interested individuals to participate in the Texas Archeological Society by offering scholarships to Society programs (Annual Meeting, the Archeology Academy, and Field School), contingent on funding being available. Applications will be available online; Diversity subcommittee members will review and determine scholarship recipients. The chosen individuals will receive the same stipend and offerings provided the Native American and Collegiate Scholarship recipients. Applicants need not be students to be eligible.
Persons may apply for TAS scholarships under all three programs, and for multiple events. Once an individual has received any TAS scholarship, however, they must wait 10 months from the date of the scholarship award before applying for another scholarship. This will allow TAS to provide scholarship opportunities to as many different individuals as possible. For further
