Because so many TAS events have been canceled this year, TAS will experience a
significant budget deficit for 2020. For that reason, we are asking members to consider
making a donation to the TAS General Fund using the link below. On the donation
form, select “General Fund” from the drop-down list at the “Please Choose a Campaign”
line. (You can also mail your donation to TAS at Dept. of Anthropology, Texas State

Who We Are

The TAS is a professional and avocational society that engages in and promotes scientific archeological exploration and research, preservation and conservation of archeological materials and sites, and the interpretation and publication of data.

We provide students of all ages the opportunity to take part in research and training through our Academies, Field School, and Annual Meeting.
